Boot Camp

 Massive Growth in Gaming

According to newzoo, the gaming industry generated a whopping $493 million in revenue in 2016 – and it’s projected that this figure will exceed $1 billion by 2019.

As well as interacting online, players regularly get together to compete, at events ranging from overnight competitions at local schools to international championships in packed stadiums, with prizes in the tens of millions.

At The Workspace, we’re getting in on the action!

We’re delighted to be sponsoring five teams, who’ll be competing in the Digital Gaming Championship (DGC) at the 2017 rAge Expo. We’re also hosting a training boot camp for the players at our Wynberg branch – and spectators are welcome.

Hi there, I would like to enroll my son into your gaming bootcamp. He is 12 years old and currently been playing CS.GO for about 4 months. He really wants to get into a club/team to pursue his career in online gaming. Please can you provide more info and costs involved. Kind regards Andrew.

Hi Andrew, I apologize for the late reply. Unfortunately the bootcamp was not for anyone to join it was just for people to come and watch and see what the players do. What you will have to do is see if you can enroll him into a new team that is starting out in the league, best way to do that is to maybe send a message to and join this group on Facebook. There you can just ask who might be looking for players and also maybe look though teams here to see if you can find new teams that would want to recruit players. Unfortunately we are looking to get into the pro masters scene so we are not looking for players at the moment. Thank you so much for contacting us and good luck!
